Yes, just like many of you, he was also part of my childhood memories. As one of my friends, Hannah, said to me today "There was your Father, your Mother, and then there was Michael Jackson!". I remember my first black w/ rhinstones MJ L.A. Gear sneakers back in the seventh grade, how I rocked them. I also remember back in highschool when he was supposed to perform in Dubai, my friends and I were so excited we had bought our tickets early, and then the concert was canceled due to all the allegations against him.Today, a true music legend, a global icon, and an amazing humanitarian leaves our world....I am devastated, but I know he is in a better place. Michael had his faults, but who are we to judge him?? Definitely a moment of true reflection for society as it is a huge loss.
